I can hear the pull-offs no problem, maybe you are muting the strings and you just dont realize it, or perhaps you just are flat out not doing it right. Try pressing harder on the strings.

to execute a double pull-off, there's a trick to it. First you need to bend the string, but not so much it changes the note, just add a little extra pressure. Then pull off the 15 to sound the 13. Repeat the same process when you pull off the 13 to the 12.

If you hear no sound after a pullof, try removing your finger faster from the string.

Also, an easy way of keeping the volume while you are doing this is to actually pull it off instead of removing the finger. this way the string will get an extra urge to vibrate a little bit more instead of loosing vibrations wen you remove your finger. The best way explaining it is like this:
Put your indexfinger on the side of the table you're sitting at, and now pull it of while pressing down. You will hear a punk noise. that's the table vibrating, same thing works with the strings also.

Yes, I also "pull off" my finger rather than just lifting it away. The pro of this is that the pull off will almost sound exactly as if you picked the note, the con is that it's more difficult, especially not to hit any adjacent string when you pull off.

Also, when you have to "hammer on", take that literally! Don't place your finger on the string too gently, HAMMER it on REALLY STRONG!

To practice this, play a trill like --h1h3p1-- (often repeat this!). Start on the high E and go down to the low E. And yes, you won't use your pick to play this, just hammer on and pull off... later, try similar patterns on different frets e.g. 3 and 5, etc.. This exercise helped me a lot to improve those techniques!

A little tip for you gck
Don't hammer on really hard. It takes away from your speed. What you wanna do is find the right pressure to hammer on as to make a clean sound. While a strong hammer on helps you hear the note, a gentler approach could work just as good, and you add a couple of extra notes into that lick.

Yes, of course it depends. However, if you you want to get a clean tone by hammering on without having picked the string before, you will need more power.

As always, with practice comes speed!
