i was looking at the major and minor penitonic scales and i dont understand, i need help please! :(

Those are derivitives of the major and minor scales. Instead of seven notes, they each have five, hence the name, pentatonic.
You should get a good understanding of the major and minor scales before you get into those.
Basically, the major pentatonic has the same notes as the major diatonic, except for the 4th and 7th scale degrees. A C major pentatonic would be C D E G A C. An A minor pentatonic scale would be A C D E G A. It is missing the 2nd and flatted 6th intervals.
