The book by Jamey Andreas

I am a starting guitar player, and I was wondering if anyone has heard of the book by Jamey Andreas, the one about correct practicing. I want to know if it really works, and I would be glad if someone could respond and give me an idea of whether it works or not, and whether I should buy it, or if it is just a waste of money.

Of course we've all heard of it. You can link to his site from cyberfret. As for the book, i havent bought it so i can't say.
