pickup height

whenever i try playing solos, scales, arpeggios, etc. I always end up pulling off. For instance I play an "A" on the 1st string, then play a "G" on the 2nd, when I release my finger on the 1st string I get the "E" to sound. It's like pulling off when I don't want too. This happens mostly on the first 3 strings. Is it just me or something else like the pickup height?

Hi ..
i dont think it has much to do with the pickup height but probably it does have something to do with string height. The problem u are facing is common with high action (strings are quite a distance above the frets). For starters lower the action.
Also you may be pressing the strings too hard. Try to be softer :)
