Absurdities of the Guitar World.

Hey dudes and dudetes..

did you guys notice that all the great players (throughout the ages) have had unusual names.....

'vai','satriani','yngwie+malmstein','Petrucci','He ndrix','Tremonti',
'Hammet','morello','fruscante (sic)','McCready'. just to name a few....

So if uve practiced day and night and still arent hot in the scene...You know what to change.

It's an insult for the world of guitar that tremonti is considered a 'good' guitarist. he sucks! Dimebag Darrell is also an odd name, nickname yes, but it's his name. His birth name is Darrell Abbot, not really an odd name by anymeans though.

C'mon viper... Ok that tremonti uses the Dm scales on all his songs and most of them sound the same and he doesnt do solos..but he's not an insult ... he neds to learn.heheh.

I like creed.. but not because of tremonti..(Maybe lyrics) .He happens to be an occurence..Are u anti Creed?

No I'm not anti-creed. But he's not one to be worthy to be listed with petrucci or malmsteen. Listen to Steve Morse play... mark tremonti is nowhere near that skill!

I am anti-Creed--some of their songs sound Ok, but the lead singer totally tries to be like Eddie Vedder, and that's lame.

I like the songs of Creed, not necessarily the guitar work, but it comes together with everything else to make a really nice song.

But also, strange is just from one persons perspective. What we are subjected to everyday becomes normal. And I mean its not like we hear 'Hey Yngwie, come and check this dead body out' on say SVU or ER or whatever people watch. To them its normal, to their friends its normal, but to people who arent subjected to it, it is strange.

i thought about changing my name so i'd fit in more- but, alas, i'm still thinking of one!
