The guy from Muse uses a Whammy, mostly on their second album Origin Of Symmetry. A few songs are: Micro Cuts, New Born and Citizen Erased.

Mostly it's pitch shifting, pluck a note and then just mess around moving the pitch up and down. I think he also uses the harmoniser function on the intro to Muscle Museum.

Listen to almost ANY rage against the machine song and you will find it in there somewhere, tom morello uses it all the time! but still manages to keep it sounding original! hes the man
