Hey
I am looking for a good steel stringed acoustic for my sister, she's pretty young (13)and what I came up with short of buying a 3000 dollar larrave (any one heard of that company) is an epiphone AS-100
is this a wise purchase. I had access to a beginners fender and really didn't like it. does any one have any other suggestions?
thanks alot

i was gonna look at one of these for my 8 yr old....i really dont know much about them and the reviews at harmony central appear to be....well....like some kid was screwin around....so i guess the reviews are not dependable....
i dont know much about them except they are a sister company to schecter...
might be worth lookin at....i dunno youll have to decide

maybe to a 14 yr old boy...but not to a little girl...esp since girls tend to have smaller hands and struggle with a full size guitar....
anyways...they are a bit on the expensive side....like 200 bucks for the acoustic....i have a plan tho....i already own a 3/4 size and i wont buy her that more expensive one till i know she is going to want to stick with it...
i also heard that dean makes a pretty nice 3/4 size....for much cheaper...like 80 bucks.....ill post a link when i find it again

Ibanez Artwood $244 @ muisiciansfriend.com. This guitar is smaller than a Dread. and highly reccomended. By who? By me! Good Luck.
