I was looking at the Fender website and in the strings section I noticed some Stainless Bullets size .010 / .038
I was just wondering if I used these strings would I have to get my Guitar set up again you see I sometimes get a slight buzz on my top string at about the 15th fret The buzz is only when I play with a heavy hand basicly its because of the way I like to have my guitar set up I dont often play top string past say the 12th fret so it is not a problem but I thought maybee this .038 string may be better for me

I'm assuming these are much lighter than your current strings. You will likely need to have the neck truss rod adjusted. The lighter string will result in less pull on the neck. What this will do is make the neck curve less due to the lighter pressure lowering the strings toward the fretboard and accentuating current buzzing. The lighter strings also have another trade-off. You will lose tone and sustain.

Before I'd go that light (and I must admit I'm a fan of fairly heavy strings) I'd try and find someone who has their guitar setup with strings that light and try it out. Cheaper than buying strings having the guitar setup, deciding you don't like it putting back the weight you're used to and then having it set up again. My guess is the buzz you're getting on 15 is a fret problem which I wouldn't bother resolving if you don't play up that high.

How are you supposed to put those strings on? I read in a catalog that you have to put them in some special thing in the tremolo block (no, not for Floyd Roses).
