I just bought a used Japanese Fender (*extremely* cheaply), but have no idea what model it is. Can you help?
It says Made in Japan on the back and on the headstock "Fender... Stratocaster... U.S.A.".
It has FOUR single-coil pickups (never seen that before) and an on/off-switch for EACH one of them. There is one more on/off-switch that I don't know the function of, and then standard volume and two tone controls.
The tremelo unit is broken at the moment, so I can't describe it.
Oh, and a bolt on neck (obviously, I suppose).
One more thing - the trusrod can be adjusted where the neck joins the body. There's actually a hole and it can be seen from the top - sticking out just next to the neck (fourth) pickup.
If you can help, I would really appreciate it.

Sounds like someone did a lot of custom work on it themselves or it is some rare fender... But it would have been a lot more expensive if it was special.

Are you sure that two of them aren't just 1 open-coil humbucker? Alot of Fender's have those.
