drum backing

is there any software or something i can use to insert drums into my recordings? my drummer cant record his drums with his setup so for our recordings i wanna jes try to throw in some "fake" drums if i could. is there any softare that can generate a drum track or something i could use to get the job done?

Powertab can replicate drums - it's piss poor though (it's not really meant for that)

Or you could try Guitar Pro, I've never used it but I've heard it can do what your looking for. I dont know the web address, just do a search on google or something.
