hi
this is for esp in particular as i kno he uses a pod. Wat i want to kno is if i use a pod do i need ne other pedals (like wahwah or whammy) and if i do will my tone b destroyed?

Yes you can use other pedals with the POD. But, they won't sound as good as playing through a tube amp head. The processing in the POD is different than what a tube amp does to the tone of the guitar, so the sound of the pedal is much different than what it would sound like through a Mesa/Boogie for example. A wah pedal does work, but not as well. A whammy pedal would work probably just the same, since all it does it bend the pitch of the guitar. If you want a good wah tone w/ the POD, I'd recommend the big floorboard and use the POD's wah sound. It's pretty good actually. All effect pedals would work with the POD... just maybe not perform like they would with a traditional guitar amp. When connecting pedals to the POD, treat the POD as an amp. Plug the pedals into the POD, don't plug the POD into the pedals. Try plugging the pod into the pedals, it sounds really funny. Especially with a wah pedal!
