Hi everybody!

I've got a little question about effect-pedals:

I've been thinking about buying an effect-gear, because I'd like to add something new to my guitar-playing.
The only problem I have, is wether to buy one multi-effect-pedal or several pedals with wahwah, etc.
I've heard that multi-effects are "killing the tone" of a guitar, but I don't think I can afford buying several pedals.
What do you prefer? And what would you suggest?

Well you have to ask yourself, do you want lots of sounds that may not be very good and loose guitar tone with spending less money? Or do you want quality sounds and good guitar tone with spending more money?

A GREAT guitar processor is the Line 6 POD. It runs for about 250 Bucks U.S. It has a wah sound, a volume pedal, and other effects like a leslie simulator that is very good. The pod also is not very much of a tone killer because it just kicks ass!

If you want single effects pedals I'd recommend the Morley Bad Horsie wah pedal. It has a very wide and smooth range. It's also switchless, so you push down on it and it turns on, let off of it and it turns off.
Boss makes very good pedals. I wouldn't go with any of those Metal zone kinds of things, they just sound like cheap distortions. They have great chorus and delay kinds of pedals. An EQ pedal in the effects loop of your amp will make your sound so much better. The Ibanez TubeScreamer (TS-9) is an excelent blues distortion pedal. Makes even a marshall valvestate 2 sound good :)

Best thing to do is to shop around and try out lots of pedals in different combinations.

Hope this helps!
