How Do I Play These Chords?

I just started to learn and I have a REALLY hard time trying to strum a chord.

My fingers don't want to stretch to the different frets and I dull some strings because my fingertips hit more than one.

This is VERY discouraging.How long does it take to overcome this?Is there anything I can do that will help or does it just come naturally after a while?:confused:

To learn how to play the guitar in a short amount of time
is like telling a one man crew to build the empire state building in a day, it's not gonna happen.

if you cant do it, then practice, practice, practice, and more practice eventualy you'll be able to play any chord.

what-ever you do don't get discouraged!

Sometimes a faulty hand position will cause problems in reaching and getting a good sound on the notes of a chord.
