where do i learn funk basics except cyber fret?
i know most funk chords and octaves i just wants to know more and some struming patterns.

I think this place has some good stuff about funk and funk rhythm. http://soundme.com/eng/ Scroll down on the list to the left and you should see Funky Rhythm. I hope that helps you out.:) Oh and by the way, do you listen to the chili peppers? I think they incorporate funk in their music very well.

yea i do listen to the chilli peppers unfortunatly i can play all of their stuff so im looking for a new funk thing

You know in the part of the song "Give it away" by the peppers where John does tremolo picking on the G,B,and e strings at the 19th fret all the way to the 8th fret? Well, I can't seem to get it...it's the hardest part of the song.....and i can tremolo pick one string really well, but this part of the song is so fast and my fingers wanna mute the strings that high up:(. Can someone help? Funk dudes? plz

practice it slowly at first or do some tremolo picking exrecizes for a couple of strings on diffrent frets u'll get it evetually

I'll try to practice with some tremelo excercises.....but my practice sessions seem to get too long and I barely have time to practice what I do:( Why can't days be longer? Anyway, thanks for the advice.
