I've heard it.....craziness lol. Why would anyone write a song that long?? I used to have a video downloaded of them playing the whole thing live, over 26 minutes long! In the middle of the song they had a sort of "comic relief" section where the bass player, guitarist, and keyboard player took turns playing goofy little tunes (John Petrucci played the theme to the Flintstones haha). It's a good song, but I just can't get into anything that's over 10 minutes.
Is there a record for the longest song ever?? Just wondering...

The song is fabulous, and dream theater are fabulous to, but i will take symphony x over dream theater. Check out Symphony X's songs, The Divine wings of tragedy, through the looking glass, and the odyssey. killer tunes, and are very long as well.

Yes make sure they get all 10cents out of the 15dollars you spend on the CD! Id rather burn it and send the band a check in the mail, unfortunately thats not plausable. I, for one, am glad we can now download music. Helps relieve the strangle hold the record industry has over artists and consumers-Sky high CD prices and little return for the artists.

cd prices keep going up because everyone is burning cds instead of money.
