i have a mexican fender stratocaster , a marshall 30w dfx and a Zoom 707 mk 2 pedal, however im pretty new to guitar and have no idea how to get different effects, and what effects do if anyone can help me, with a website address which explains how to achieve diffferent effects, that would be cool, im looking to get a wide range of effects from Brothers in Arms by KNnopfler to Sweet child o'mine ! please help !!

ok dood. Here's a site ith a bunch of different patches for the zoom 707. its got loads of different effects, including different artists sounds you can get.

for a warmer, more fuller sound use your neck pick up, and if you want a more "crunchy" chugga chugga chugga, i suggest you use teh bridge pickup.

I don't really like the bridge pickup when doin solos. because i find there is too much pick attack when playing runs.
