Heh I never heard of these albums before, but they've got some great songs on them. Vol 1 looks like the better of the two with some of my favs like Sultans of Swing, Voodoo Chile, Surfing With The Alien, Freebird, and Johnny B. Goode. But of course I'm biased because I'm judging them on what the songs are like to play on real guitar....I don't do a lot of air guitar work these days lol :D

If you really want a great air guitar album get Ozzy Osbourne/Randy Rhodes-TRIBUTE! you cant help but play air when listening to it!

I thought the first album was great but the second is very weak by comparison, instead of roping in the songs that should have been on the first volume, Brian May has gone and gotten more of the same. Big guitar bands like ACDC and Led Zep won't play ball with compilations though, so I suppose that May has done the best he can.

because then they could appeal to a wider range of tastes, therefore selling more records and by releasing volume 1 last Christmas they had a cash cow stocking filler, and then by making volume 2 for this Christmas, they have another cash cow stocking filler. Expect volume 3 next year.

i knew air guitar was like playing in the air without a guitar but i didnt understand how it was air guitar songs. i just realized it gets you pumped and you act like your the person. everyday in school voodoo child, srv version, is in my head and i act like im him at this one concert that i downloaded(video) so i have his expressions memorized, its great. while im listening to a song crazy train gets me out of control when it gets to the solo, and i act like im tapping and probably look like an idiot :)
