how to tune guitar down 1/2 step

:confused: I NEED TO TUNE MY GUITAR DOWN 1/2 STEP

HOW DO I ACHIEVE THIS ?????? PLEASE HELP

make sure your guitar is tuned to standard tuning. fret the low e(thickest) string at the 6th fret.detune the string to match an open a string. once you've done that, tune the guitar normally (5th fret 6th string matches open 5th string, etc.)
it would help if you had a tuner

Here is a lessons on basic tuning. At the bottom of the first page is a button that says "Tuning Notes". There are some midi tuning note that you can use to tune down a half step.
