What are harmonics? Can they be accomplished by pedals or what?

lightly rest your finger directly above or just barely to the right of the 12th fret (the actual fretwire, not the space) on any string. pluck the string. that kinda weird sound you hear is a harmonic. it will continue to ring after you remove your finger, if you did it right.
harmonics are kinda complex, thats about all i know aout harmonics. there are other points on the strings that produce harmonics. experiment and try to find em all

Eb---------------------------

Does it just say harmonics, without saying the tab? This usually would mean natural harmonics, but that seems unlikely.(I dont know the song.) Anyway, if it is natural harmonics, then they can be played at all these frets except 3rd fret. You can get a harmonic between the 3rd and 4th frets though. It is usually written as 3.2. This is maybe what it means. Still, it seems unlikely that these are all natural harmonics
