ah right, i was thinking of sending it Via messenger (msn) heh...

... with the way hotmail are pushing their sending limits, its gonna be pretty damn difficult to send someone a 15K file, let alone a 6MB file, lol

There was a video on metalmethod that was taken off the site for some reason =(. Its where he plays "No Boundaries" live.

I've seen that speed kills video, umm what can I say...

He's extremely talented but I hate his songs. I can't listen for more than about a minute.

holy ****!! i missed a shredding thread? damn...i need new glasses.

I think angelo is really good, i mean who else can do what he does with BOTH hands? (and don't say steve vai, cause its not true, even though he CAN play with both hands)

his music is ok, but i find it hard to listen to because he does use the same licks over and over and over and over, but they sound cool, so YEAH!!

But his hair is fake.....yes it is...sorry...

In that video i think he is sloppy when he pulls off his "tricks" (hand over the fret board stuff) but they look cool, and don't sound really horrible so i forgive him.

Rusty Cooley makes Angelo look like a choir boy though IMO.

i must admit, i havnt seen a better shredder than rusty... but maybe i havnt been looking hard enough :)

I love the way all shredders look really calm relaxed and happy while they shred.

That video clip was on the metalmethod.com site at one time, but it looks like they took it down. When I watched that video last year, I though it was just fun to watch. Pretty amazing technique. I ended up buying the video, it was pretty cheap. He is an amazing player technically. There are some useful tips in the video. There is also a lot of BS filler. An 80 minute video with about 15 minutes of real content. There are 6 pages of tabs that come with the video.

He is not all that interesting of a player after watching the whole video. It still was fun to watch. He plays both right handed and left handed, and over the neck....pretty amazing. But there are much more interesting players with amazing technique like say John Petrucci of Dream Theater. That video was also shot over 10 years ago, so I am sure his playing has evolved since then. Not technically, you can go much further than what he was doing then....but musically.

His band at that time, I can't remember the name....was pretty bad. The singer was trying so hard to be Axl Rose. It was bad hair band metal at it's worse. I hope he has moved on to bigger and better things.

I don't know what to think of that guy Michael Angelo. What can you think of a guy who takes a name after a medieval sculptor. His music?? I've seen one clip and that was enough . He sure has amazing technique, but as someone said he is repetitive (even in that short piece I watched). Sure Pettrucci is far better. at least he with his amazing technique is not showing of all the time. He uses it to achieve something musically. Even a monkey can do difficult tricks, but it doesn't know what for.
