Acoustic Bass

Hi, I've been playing guitar for almost a year and I want to take up bass too and I was wondering if anyone knows of any good acoustic basses for under £200? (sorry don't know how much that is in $).

Or an electric bass pack that includes the amp.

Well, if I did my conversion correct.....then that is around $300 US

Dean makes a good low end bass (I think it is the Edge series).....and Yamaha (RBX260 I think is the model that one of my students has). Both of those are around $200 US, so you could get a small amp and stay in your price range

I would probably not suggest an acoustic bass guitar as your first bass unless you really have your heart set on it.
