Somewhere over the rainbow

I downloaded a song on Limewire yesterday, and it says it's Jimi Hendrix playing "Somewhere over the rainbow" After listening to it, there's no way this is Hendrix. Does anyone know of someone along the lines of Steve Vai or Eric Johnson covering this song? (Wizard of oz theme song) It's killing me to know who the artist is. Thanks in advance!!

It makes sense it would be vai. I agree with you, that after hearing that it is definately not Hendrix. That song is awesome. My old rhythm guitarist showed me that song. He thought he was going to learn it, but he sucks so there is no chance. I'll check with a few people who are a better authority on the 80's thrashers and get back to ya.

Sometimes ya see songs posted that says,
Track 5
Track 6
etc.
Then when someone downloads it and plays it, they think it's by XXX and change the name, when really it was X00 who did it.
