Pedals Question

Could someone please explain to me the difference between distortion, effect, and expression pedals? Thanks.

Most of the new multiefect units have expression pedal on them. It's a pedal which allows you to control (usually) any parameter featuring in device such as distortion, wah, volume etc. You can cotrol those by pushing it up and down. It's not like on/off switch, you can push it "peep" (what's the word..?). It works the same way as a single wahwah pedal.

Distortion effect is just a single effect. It may be in a multieffect or it may be a single pedal.

Pedals have better sound quality but multieefects have more effects....
