Well my guitar teacher has lent me his amp cos he plays the Lute know and he doesn't need it, besides he is my best mate, well anyway....

He said its quite old, its a "Yamaha VR4000" and it is absolutely *&*&^*&^ HUGE! err not marshall sizes but still up to my thight at least, its got 2 channels, 16 control knobs that do various functions.

The only problem is that it says it is "132" watts,---thats seems a bit of an irregular number. I cant find any reference to it anywhere, but as i said it seems quite old.

Have you ever heard of it?

Where on the amp does it say '132 watts'. Because, that may be the actual power consumption of the amp itself. Though, for an amp that size that seems quite low. But if it is by the fuse or the power cord or anything that has to do with the amp's power, it is probably the power the amp uses. Usually, amps don't say how many watts they are, some do; like the Hartke Kickbacks: they say 120 watts on the face of the amp. But, anyway that may not be the output power.

At the back behind 2 fuses it says watt 132 and 50/60 hz~

that probably means the power output heheh, if so is there any way of finding out its wattage?

Yeah that is the amps power consumption. Not the output power.
