Hi everybody, I'm a beginner and think that cyberfret is by far the best lesson site I've seen.
I've been concentrating on the note naming, penatonic, and improvizational lessons. I finally get the point of the root note and how it is the resolving point to end on. My question is: to change positions (keys?) do I just move to another whole note on the fretboard (ex. G to an A) and base the same pattern around the new whole note as the root.
I was just wondering if this was right or am I way off base. Thanks for the great information.
