i think thats the spelling. anywho, theres a really nice used hohner acoustic/electric at my music store and its only $200. im not quite sure about the model number, i just know it plays and sounds great, and i am in need of a new acoustic (20 year old sokovas just dont do it for me anymore lol) any input would be much appreciated

p.s. i know they are better known for their harmonicas, but this guitar really isnt that bad... and cheap too :-D

Well....if it plays and sounds great, and it's cheap, there shouldn't be any question aboot it! Just make sure you check the neck, intonation, and all that other obvious stuff first. If there's no problems and you like it, make the purchase ;)

well, harmonica or not, Hohner is a hugh traditional brand known for good quality, normally they don't loose that much in price (or is it privately sold???), so check it out carefully... - but of course it could be different in your country, if it's not that well-known and highly reputated, but anyway play it through carefully and watch every detail... - you want to have a lasting friend, do you :d ???

I started out with a "Hohner" years ago and belive it or not I still have it. Nice for folk songs. But I recommend the Ibanez AW.:D

the guy at the store downtown likes my whole family, so he gets me good deals, but he never sells an ibanez. he's pretty big on fernandes too. there's some other brand he sells, i forget what they are, but they're selling like hotcakes.
