how come their songs are so rarely tabbed???? like some of their famous songs like Wind of Change, Hurricane (whole song not jsut the riff), etc.???

Im sure they are tabbed somewhere. I think they were/are a great band...the music scene was a lot different in 84-85 when they were one of the biggest bands around.

They could play the fast killer rock stuff and also cool ballads...one of my favorite scorps songs is "when the smoke is going down".

I think both of their guitar players were great...Rudolph schenker was a great songwriter and Mathias Jabs could write killer melodic solos that were like little compositions...he always knew how to make a part that fit the song perfectly and would stick in your head.

I guess a good word for them would be "melodic"...I think in general the european guys were more melodic overall than the US bands...the euros had all that classical music in their backgrounds whereas we have all the blues...so they are more familiar with the melodic chord progressions where we stick more to pentatonic stuff.

Woah! I'm also suprised!
I was just going to learn "The Wind of Changes" and I couldn't find the tabs anywhere.

I did not have heard the song for ages until I just heard it on a cd "The Best Rock Ballads... (?)" and it sounded very cool... Odd. I thought that the song must be a legend. It's one of those songs which everybody knows even if they did not listen the type of music.
