what are some diff ways of doing this the way i do it just seems really hard

Do it the way it says on the main Cyberfret website, but experiment with some different size picks.

For me, I find it easiest to do them with a 2mm big stubby, and a 73mm dunlop.

Also experiment with the position that you do the pinch harmonic.
