Pick Slide

Tom Delonge uses it a lot and it sounds amazing.
Exactly how do I accomplish it?:confused:

This technique is performed by placing the flat side of the pick along the strings vertically and sliding the pick either towards or away from the headstock. It usually works best with distortion, but is possible without it. Hope I helped

does the speed matter? like do i use a constant speed or do i slow down or waht?

Speed actually isnt that important, its all a matter of what sounds good to you. Try doing it fast then slow and find out what sounds closer to how Tom Delonge plays it.
