Ok, I have made a few post recently dealing with discomfort while playing and trouble with coordination in my left hand. Well here is the thing, first off I am right handed in every way, baseball, hockey, golf...what have you....now a friend of mine who is left handed plays guitar left handed....well I picked upped his guitar and it was like WOW!!!...everything just seemed and felt right, I was hitting chords, i could move much more easily around the frets, and most important NO pain or discomfort!! the only thing was picking and strumming felt a little wierd but not that bad. Now 4 years ago I was hit by a car while I was on my Motorcycle in which I broke my left hand and wrist in 5 places, so my mobility on my left wrist and hand sucks!!! I just wont bend certain ways....Now the question is could this be my problem??, are rightys who play left common??? and again hitting chords was effort less, but my strumming and picking wasn't as strong, so which is more important?? So before I restring the guitar or buy a left handed one any feedback from you guys would be great

If it works for you, then by all means restring your guitar. (if its a dreadnought style accousitc or otherwise has a symettrical body. if you have a strat-shape or other non symettrical design then buying a left handed model will be the better option.) and no, i've never met a right-handed person who plays left handed, but i do know left handed people who play right handed.
