Can anyone please tell me how to get that high pitched fuzzy distortion that Jimmy Page used in all of his songs??

I am not sure what you are talking about. I know Jimmy uses a ocatve-fuzz in dazed and confused along with a regular guitar, to get a high pitched doubling effect. Other than that he used a regular fuzz in some recordings and numerous amps. But mostly used marshalls(Plexi?, Super Lead?), and Orange amps, and not sure but maybe Hiwatt amps. That, delay, and sparingly use of wah wah and phaser make up his rig. Also, he used a Gibson Les Paul except on the first album (Fender Telecaster). A good but cheap Octave Fuzz is the Danelectro French Toast Octave Distortion ($35-$40).

Yeah man, I don't know what you're talkin about... Jimmy Page's guitar tone was very diverse on all the albums. Even on the same album, his tone is different in some way in ever song. He was a very big tone freak, his tone is awesome. Read some Jimmy Page interviews in guitar world, sometimes he says what he was using on the song. I'd say if you want Jimmy Page tone, get a dual humbucker guitar and a Line 6 POD. Page used mostly his neck p/u and classic amps, like the Marshall Plexi.

He also used Vox AC3os sometimes. He actually used a Tele for a lot of songs after the first album, even thogh it doesnt sound like it.
