Hey y'all,
I was just wondering if there are any other guitarists wo play bass as well here? I just got a Lakland 54-99 5-string, and it's bloody marvelous!

Yes, I play bass as well. It's a 22 fret Vantage 4 string P-style... Bought it used for 100 bucks, great bass!

I'm quite a proficient guitarist, and I got a bass so my friend and I could jam (and I'm learnin' a little). It's a Charvel CX 490, got it for $250 with a hardshell case, the thing is damn sweet. Got a Jazz-bass Jackson pickup near the bridge and a Jackson P-Bass pickup in the middle of the bass. I love the way that thing sends vibrations through ya when you pluck the strings hard.
Many a guitarist also plays bass.

I used to have a Mexican P-Bass when it was my primary instrument, got bored with it soon after though and I'm now a dedicated guitarist.

I've got a Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass, obviously worthy of all capitals :), and I jam on a 200 watt fender bassman amp. A combination worthy of a king. The jazz bass is by far the best bass i've ever played.
I also own a custom made Electra 6 string guitar. Amazing how i've never heard anyone else playing one :/.

plus for an edition i just got a destortion pedal. my basic 112 peavy bass amp is weird. it's takes in 100 watts and puts out only 50 watts. but with the must punch and power that youll ever seen in a 50 watt amp.

Sure. Bass is a blast. I play a Ibanez BTB515 five string and a Fender Fretless Jazz bass. But mainly just for recording bass parts.
Well, i can play bass, the simple stuff. My friend has an aria something gold? I might be wrong, i cant slap, but i can pick and finger pick.

I play guitar and funk bass. I got a Warwick Thumb neck thru its made out o bubinga, my favorite thing in the whole wide world. most of my inspiration on bass comes from claypool, i also listened to this guy Ryknow from a band mudvayne hes pretty awesome,he plays a Thumb as well you can tell by the tone, but its 5string i think

ya i play me freinds bass alot when i see him. I love to do scales on the bass, it really helps with my noteing accuracy on guitar and gives me fingers a good run.

yeah.. i just got a bass to accompany my guitar playing.
i got a warwick corvette special 4-string... i ORDERED a warwick streamer 5-string, but they sent the wrong one, and it would've been $100 altogether for me to send it back, so i just kept it... the corvette is a better all-around bass anyway ;)
