Does anyone know how to play the Infest version of Tightrope, by Papa Roach? I can't find it anywhere.

Those tabs are wrong... the song is played in drop d, I know that... all those ones are in standard

You could always go to www.google.com, a search engine and type in something Papa Roach Tab, Tightrope tab, or Papa Roach Tightrope tab.

the tab might be right, just tune your guitar to drop D and play the tabs as they are.

I tried both... plus I know the chords are wrong cause I have a video of them playing it at MTV2's 5-Night Stand. The chords are played on the top 3/4 strings...

dude, just b/c they aree playing that in the video doesnt mean that they play that in the song.

Most videos they don't play. Just for show. In Chop Suey for soad Daron (their guitarist) doesn't even have a cord plugged into his guitar.

they probly want you to think that he has a wire less system hooked up to his guitar.

hmmm...well sorry i cant help much but.....something about this bothered me....

when you said you had a video i was pretty sure you meant a CONCERT video...which they WOULD play in and alot of people DO tab off of concert videos.....

you didnt mean an MTV type video did you? i didnt think so....

probably your best bet will be to look for a fan site which may have some transcriptions...maybe after comparing a few you might find a good rendition at least....big fans (the type who would dedicate a website to a band) tend to take the transcriptions a little more serious than someone who just wants to be able to squeek his way thru another song....

its worth a try anyways....good luck...

This is a live concert I taped from MTV 2... just thought I'd let you know.

And Jerry DOES use a Shure UHF wireless system.

why do you have to argue about this.
Go to a tab site (as i think Jaytee said) and if it sounds right, play around with other notes until it sounds right.
tabs are always..ALWAYS gonna be slightly wrong.
its up the the guitarist to use his initiative and solve the problem.
