i was just thinking if any of u'all had tried those bass distortion and wahs... do they sound any good man? and how useful are they ?

my friend's got a bass distortion... actually i think its an overdrive, but close enough. he doesnt use it all the time, i think its mostly used for industrial type sounds.

havent played or heard a bass wah live, so i oculdnt help u there.

but i think most bassists dont really use too many effects...

i got a cry baby ass wah.... i liek it.. it coudl be better but it works for me... im looking into probally an overdrive pedal btu im nto sure whats good yet... i thinkign maybe BOSS

i used to use one, but it was borrowed, i think it was an overdrive...erg it's been too long ago to remember:p

hey flea, my friend has one, i think its a boss, it sounds pretty damn good if u ask me.

and the kid just bought a schecter 5 string, i think ill be spending some time over at his crib lol

yea make sure to tell him when he changes his strings not to cut tbe b sting too short or the pickups wont register the sound... that happened to me and i had to go buy a whoel new set of strings grrrr

somtimes on a bass (not sure about a guitar) when ya string it ya got to much string so ya cut the extra so its tight and dosnt over-wrappe on the tunning peg thingy... actually i have seen guitars that need the strings cut so they dont stick out all over the place

i just bought a effects processer i havent used it yet kuz its on layoway but it has 24 different effects the wah sounds kinda funky but its kool & it has this krazy soundin synth effect i wanna make some jazz funk music once i get that mug.i think processers are the best buy if you quanity but not so much quality.
