Levinson,
Im not sure if u can buy this guitar where u r from, but they are all handmade in Quebec Canada. When i went in to buy my guitar i was looking and all the top names and the salesmen(who has been playing for over 30 years) showed me a Simon and Patrick (satin series )guitar. He played a few of the top sellers then had me listen to the S&P, for just starting to play the guitar for about a month even i could hear the difference. When u play u can feel the sound vibrate through your chest, its awesome. I paid 285.00 canadian dollars for this guitar and ppl that have played it want to take it home and leave me with theirs(ha ha). Any way there web site is www.SIMONANDPATRICK.CA
If u get the chance to play one i doubt u will want to leave it at work though ha ha.

if you don't already have one then you may want to go electric/acustic....you can get a larger varity of sound out of it than a regular acustic

I have a Sigma. It is the lower line of Martin Guitars. I really like it. I think it was around $270, but I have had it for close to 10 years. :p
Hi, I agree with Nikki about Simon et Patrick guitars, they have great tone. If you cannot buy one in your region, i suggest you take a look at Yamaha guitars. According to me, they are the best quality / price
guitars in the industry.
Good luck

I've only played a few accoustics in my time, those being a Samick, a Yamaha 12 string, my Höfner f hole archtop acoustic (dunno the model name, but thats what it has), and a Fender. Now if my höfner had been taken care of better, I would love it more, but its got holes in it and stuff (my nan's handy work [her old guitar]). And out of the ones I've played, the Fender and the Samick had really rich tone. My friends fender is a dream to play, and my other friends Samick is just soooo.... yay! I'd recommend trying both out. But I don't recommend Samick for electrics tho, they kinda really suck.
