I bet most of them are right. But if Download the tab from www.powertabs.net you can't go wrong. You need to download a program called Powertab to use powertabs. It allows you to listen if the tab is correct. There are also ranking for every tab in the page.

Its not usually the tab thats wrong. Like Hannu said powertabs has the best. Its just how your playing it. Not saying your wrong but what setup and what equipment are you using? What order are your effects in? I mean anything can make a difference. Randy uses palm muting and muffling alot in that solo. You just have to get into Randy Rhoads mode to play it.
Randy Rhoads is an awesome guitarist... :D

Why do all the greats have to die young?
Because they are the greats...

Are you serious????
@ Guitarmonky55: There are a couple of versions floating around out there. If there are a whole bunch of pinch harmonics, you've got the version with Zakk Wylde... Randy didn't do pinches as much as Zakk does, and I can't remember him doing them in Crazy Train...

well the recording quality on the one i got is pretty shoddy, so its older. there is like 1 pinch harmonic on it, but i wanna hear zakk wylde play it so ima look for that version.
I've only ever heard it twice... and the recording quality on crazy train was pretty good... I would say that it is your mp3/mp3 player which is bringing down quality... :)

He din't record with to many pinch harmonics. If you listen to the tribute album of him playing live you'll notice that he used them quite a bit. he put them in the rythem of crazy train with a few other tricks he did
@GuitarMonky55 you been missing out if you just got that song. Crazy train might be the best known song RR did, but it wasn't the best (at least imo) RR plays on 2 actual albums with ozzy (not including tribute) and there is an album of him playing with quiet riot (which he formed before he met ozzy) There is also 2 songs that were not released, Very little material was left behind unfortunatly:(
@Griffin_Page, Because like the song says, only the good die young

well ignore ozzy then, but i'm pretty sure RR was quite the 'good guy' and didn't smoke pot, do drugs etc. Well thats what I read anyway.

From what I've read Randy would every now and then have a sniff of cocaine at the most, only after everyone was done at the studio. He was quite the tedious worker, and always was really focused in the studio, sometimes spending days in there (as was the case with the solo to "Diary Of A Madman). But you're right, he generally didn't get into all the drugs, certainly not even as close as ozzy got. But I really don't know why anyone wouldn't approve of Ozzy. I certainly wouldn't approve of what he's done in the past (ie. drink ungodly amounts, do drugs, ect.) But his music is always great and the way he's cleaned himself up over the past few years has been quite impressive.

Actually, now that I think about it, I learned that riff from the Guitar World's "100 Greatest Guitar Solos" Collector Issue. Every part of that song sounds 100% correct from that version. If you can, try and get you're hands on it. You shouldn't have to much trouble finding it, as it was a pretty popular issue (As the title suggests). Hope this helps.
