7s0 slide to open?

Does 7s0 mean that you slide from 7th fret to an open string? How do you do that? Doesn't that kill the resounding note?

pull off just before the zero fret. that would make the string sound.

you could do either what kai said, which is like you should slide to the first fret and then pull off to the open string or you could just keep sliding past the nut, then the open string will have the ghost note type of sound
