is it a 150 PRE AMP?? or a combo amp.. cause if its a pre amp you would also need a power and and a cab to run teh thing.
well for bassist... a 150 watt combo amp aint really that bad.. UNLESS your guitarist has like a 100 watt plus half stack...
in that case yoru gonan want 350 watts or more and thats where a nice full stack could come in.
i think your gonan have to look at what ya need the amp for... practice.. playing at your house... or giging

wel it's a 150w combo with a pre amp built in and im also wondering if i can just put a cabinet on top. Would that be possible?, if so i don't need to buy ah whole stack. Its becouse the guitarists are thinking about buying a stack (when they have the money) and i would have to adjust my bass power. I use it for everything, repetition, live concerts, practice, recording...

well ay woudl have to look at the specs if its runnign at 150 watts at 8 ohms now adn it can produce more power and run at 4 ohms then yes you could buy another cab to add to it.

its running 8 ohms, and its got a send output where you can define the send level... its gotwo 8 ohm speaker inputs and theres a cable from the preamp to the input

if ya can run it at 4 ohms then you can add another 8 ohm cab and be fine

what kinda amp u got there, if you got lets say an ampeg, i would get and ampeg cab, or if its swr then an swr cab, i think the cab cant be more than 150 watts though, i dont knwo abut this technical stuff so that just what i think.

na its not nessesary to match companies i know many peopel who use ampeg amps with swr cabs.. and the sound WAY better then ampeg cabs...
as for cab wattage i dont any cab that is UNDER 150 watts.. my cabs are 400 and 350 watts
