Does anybody know a good acoustic strings brand? I'm searching for steel strings with a warm but still clean sound, not too thin, but not that heavy that it'll take me all my strength to play them. And it would be really god if they weren't too expensive.
Any suggestions welcome
Thanks
well i'd definately give martin or d'addario a try, you cant go wrong with either. - thats my humble opinion.
I use martin sp's 11's on my electro acoustic.

I like Dean Markley strings. I've always had good wear with them and like the tone. I use 12's. They're a little heavy for bends as they have a wound 3rd string. Awesome for vocal accompaniment or rhythm. Also good for clean leads. I've been disappointed with d'addario

ive been usin d'addarios and im not sure i exactly "love" them....i knew as soon as i put them on i would try another brand the next time i bought strings...however...i bought 4 sets...so it may be a while...cuz it seems strings last me a long time....(guess i dont get my hands sweaty/acidic enough...lol)
anyhow...i am thinkin my next set will either be martins or markleys...ill be gettin a new guitar soon so maybe on that one...it just seems like everyone has said they liked those 2 brands so i wanna see if i do too...
