I was wondering how you guys played the "intro" arpeggio thing at the beginning of the solo to painkiller by judas priest. On the tabs i got for it, they had it at the 14 fret...so do you bar across the fret or what? how do you make it sound really clean and fast?

ok, teh way i play the apreggio's is like this:
F# (16th fret) - middle finger
A (14th fret) - index finger
C# (14th fret) - index finger
now, when sweeping on the same string, you must...its hard to explain, but you have to kind of "roll" your finger to the next note by lifting your finger a little causing that string to be muted so it does not ring.
Don't forget to mute with your picking hand as well. Excess noise is disgusting.
If your confused, hopefully someone can translate my swahili.
Its great to see a girl playing this type of music by the way. You kick so much ass.
Later.

thanks- i know exactly what you mean. (about rolling your finger and muting). the way you do it is exactly the way i do it, except i use my ring finger instead of my middle. i just needed some input on it. thanks for the compliment too. ;)
