re-strung

I have just re-strung my electric guitar for the 1st time. The top 2 strings, low e and low d are both now making a sorta metallic buzzing noise when played. Is there anything that i can do?

Did you use the same string guage ? if you have gone up or down a gauge you will have to re set up your guitar

nah i have the same string gauge

OK I notice sometimes on my Fender that if I dont leave quite a long length of string to wrap arround the tuners I get a buzz but if the string goes around say 3 or 4 times there is no buzz could this be the problem?
