When plucking the bass strings should I use 1 or 2 fingers? I am used to only using one. Can any one tell me if I should use more than one finger?

For slow bass lines, one finger is sufficient. But once things are moving a little faster you will want to bring in your second finger to help. A good exercise is to play your scales playing 2 times on each note. Pluck the 1st time with your right hand 1st finger, and then the 2nd time with your 2nd finger. So your are alternating between your right hand 1st and 2nd fingers ....you are practicing scales aren't you :) ...

Thanks!

I have been using two fingers now (It was a long time since I posted this) and I have became good at it!

So for slow bass lines it is normal to only use one finger... ok.
