i got a zoom 506 for my bass. and i want to know if i can use it and play rock and hrad rock and still have peeple like it.......or do they already use bass efects in their songs. if so which ones?.....thanks for your help!

as for people liking it i think as long as yoru happy with what ya play the rest of the world can flicker off

oo ok that sheads alot of light...
3 doors down.. a very very kick ass band.. i dont think their bassist uses and effects IF he does it might be an overdrive but i doubt it.. i havnt heard any effects in their songs in the way of bass

just to be empahasising the bit about doing what you want with your bass-if it sounds good dont listen to idiot guitarists who just like to be louder and more obvious than everyone else put together

ZOOMS ARN;T THAT GOOD, I DONT LIKE THEM BECAUSE THEY ONLY GIVE U WAHTEVER THEY GIVE U DIGITECH GIVES U 40X2 WHICH IS 80 OF THE SAME EFFECTS BUT 40 U CAN KEEP THE SAME AND THE OTHER 40 YOU CHANGE TO WHT U WANT TO CHANGE THEM TO, ALSO U DONT NEED EFFECTS, U SHOULD GET A GOOD DEEP TONED AMPO LIKE AMPEG, THEY HAVE A 5 VOICE KNOB THAT CHANGES THE SOUND DRASTICALLY, THEY SOUND GHREAT LOOK INTO THEM.
