Who brings their guitar to school?

i got my guitar right after i graduated, but i dont think i would have taken it to school. no time and i'd be worrying the whole day about it getting scratched or stolen.

Well, A friend of mine and myself have organized a thing after school where us musicians can meet after school and jam every tuesday and thursday. So I do bring my guitar to school but I leave it in my locked hardshell case untill I need it. I would never bring it in a gig bag to school.

Hehe, I bring it everyday I practice for my music performances
I don't have a guitar case or gigbag. I leave it in the music room in the back room locked up. My music teacher is really good coz she doesn't let anyone touch my guitar. And yeah I've already dropped my guitar once, so I don't really care too much if it gets scratched again.

i guess now would be an appropriate time to let you know that i'm home schooled.

I bring my guitar to school on tuesdays and most fridays, IN A GIG BAG! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?! Well, actually, my school is sorta a special kind, so their is only 7 students their. We operate out of a mental hospital. How good it is to know if some crazy lunatic escapes and wants to kill a bunch of teenagers.

hmm... and what is the reason that your school is part of an insane asylum??!! - if was a bad guy, I'd think that only the insane themselves have to attend school inside an asylum :)

I do when my Jazz class has performances (the school guitars are very bad) but I DON'T LET IT OUT OF MY SIGHT. Until I get to band class, then the teacher locks it up in his office.

I bring my guitar to school on days like the last day before breaks, early release days, and exam days (Cause, 2 hour exam period, 30 minute exam= 1 1/2 hour of doing nothing).

my band pactices in my college alot (most of my blues band consists of lecturers at the college).

Well, it's been 20 years since I was in high school... but let's substitute "work" for "school" and I can throw in my "2 cents worth" ... :D

I used to work at a place where I would bring in my guitar and practice at breaks or lunch everyday, and sometimes, people would bring in their instruments and we'd sort of jam at lunch... I'd do this with keyboards too, bringing in a portable Casio or something...

Where I work now, my boss would hit the roof, so I don't do it anymore...
