Hey guys, i wanna start delving into funk but i dunno where to begin... can like introduce some good nice funk bands or players or a site with a lesson ? thanks!

their old stuff mroe then their new.. but they ar all aroudn funk rock.. im not sure but evlis costello migth be a liitle funkish... im nto sure though he might be more rock

James Brown, George Clinton and P-Funk All Stars, moe. (older stuff), Chili Peppers, old Stevie Wonder... tons of great funk bands from the 70's. I'm sure I'll think of a few more good bands as soon as I wake up a little more, haha. Nothing makes the girlies shake their bums like some good funk !
