how do you hammer on a bass guitar or a normal guitar?:confused:

a hammer woudl be written liek this

meaning 7 hammer to 9 and pull off to seven

to hammer your would hit the 7th fret hold it and with another finger hit the 9th fret.. then ya kinda pull your finger off the string to make a hammer on/pull off
