Hertzes?

I have no idea if I spell this correct but it's not important anyway.

I've been playing for almost two years now, and I always thought I did a pretty good job on it....:rolleyes:

Anyway, Cool site I might say and I have a question: In normal tuning I figured out that you play at 440 Hertz. Only I can't figure out which Hertzes are if you tune down a step and 1/2 a step. Does anyone here know this?:confused:

well the correct term is hertz. Whether its 1 hertz or 50000000 hertz, it's still hertz. I always hate says 1 hertz, but thats what it is. Some tuners allow you to tune either in cents or hertz... That would be a way to find out. I don't know what the exact number is for 1/2 step down so can't help ya there.
