I have a capo on the fourth fret, and I play the Cmajor finger formation, so the chord is basically ...

What the hell is this chord?! Appreciate any help.

you don't need the capo to play it like you've wrote it out
just barre it 'cept for the low E string and play the E =]

Hey Thanks man, the reason for the capo was because that chord is from a rythem lick I made, which uses a capo. I have another chord for you if you don't mind.

actually without capo thats Fmaj7/C
with capo its Amaj7/E
I think thats how you write it
with out that 7 on the 5th string it'll be Amaj7

These 2 are just basic bar chords, one with the root on the 6th string, and one with the root on the 5th string. Find what the name of the lowest sounding not in each chord, and you will have the root.

It better that you spend the time now to learn the note names on the 6th and 5th strings, and to learn those basic bar chords........rather than just telling you what the name of the chords are :)
