i have roughly 15 to 20 songs that were working on....my problem though is the arranging of the songs. we keep playing parts of them and cant seem to finalize any of them. any suggestions on how we can stick to one and get one song complete. this is becoming frustrating. i'm not someone who is really organized either is our drummer or bass player i dont want to involve anyone else cuz i feel we have some good stuff were doing if we can get it together.

Probably determination and a little more discipline.
One of you should be more in charge, the more responsible out of you three, someone who'll keep you going and guide you,and push you forward all the time.If all of you are aware of the problem then there's no difficulty in solving it.
Chew on a song until you're done with it then start on a new one,and choose a song that isn't impossible for you to play..start with easy ones and go on to harder ones.Maybe it's discouraging for some of you when you reach a dead end in a song..which lead to you being lazy and hopless about getting anywhere.
Playing in a band isn't just about being a good guitarist or a good bassist, drummer, etc....you have to be able to be coordinated with each other, and to get along(to some extent at least) and to have the ability to organise yourselves in the most productive way.you say you're not organized, so why not organize yourself?Put a little more effort into what you want to do,cause nothing comes easy.
If each one of you is gonna wait for the other to do something about it,you won't get anywhere. And since you came here with the problem, i suggest you get yourself moving and start working on getting one song completed. That should motivate ALL of you to start on another and actually complete it!

AMEN BROTHER..... may I also suggest you write them down in what ever musical shorthand that you all can understand. A bit of music theory and musical arrangement understanding would really be a big help. It sounds as tho your doing originals, if that is true SOMEONE will have to do the arranging and writing. This doesn't happen by itself. Play to a tape recorder when you play together, then listen to it at a later date... this is always a big eye opener for me. This is also a good tool to aid in arranging.
That should put you off the trail!!
