fretless strings

hey i wanna buy a fretless...but i dont know....do you have to buy special strings for those things or wut?

As far as I knwo you do not need special strings, but then again I have never knew anyone whoi has played on one or have I played on one. Ask a guy at a music store I am sure he casn give you abetter answer then I could.

na i would just say get nickel instead of stell it will sound better and be better for the fretboard
